  • BREXIT: All Change?

    With the outcome of the UK’s referendum on Brexit being victory for the “Leave” campaign financial services firms in the UK will be wondering what this means for them. In the immediate future the regulatory landscape remains unchanged. The UK remains a member of the EU and this will not change until Parliament legislates to take us out. This can only happen once the UK has invoked Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, which in turn triggers a 2 year period during which there will be time-consuming and complex negotiations between the UK and the remaining members of the EU.
